Sour Cream Caramel Frosting

  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon butter
Mix sugar and cream, let stand until dissolved, about 30 minutes or longer. Add butter and boil 5 minutes or to the soft-ball stage. Beat and spread on cake.
